The Broody Bunch

I’m just a country girl returning to her roots after marrying, having two kids and moving to the city.  My adventure about raising chickens hopefully becomes your adventure through this site. I have a desire for my kids to remember the ‘Good Ole Days’ of their childhood when they’re all grown up.  So we’re returning to the basics a little at a time.  We’re not radical or tree-huggers, just your average family trying to get by.  My goal for The Broody Bunch is for it to become a journal of our experience, a How-To of what to do and what not to do when raising chickens, an authority on poultry terms and breeds, and a reference of the best places from which to buy your supplies.  I hope that because of our story you’ll decide to try your hand at raising your own brood!
